Original art from local artists. Next to a great restaurant Il Tesoro.
If you eat at the Lighthouse Café it is in-between 2 shops which help pass the time if you have to wait for a table for breakfast.
The gift shops attached to Ding Darling Visitor?s Center and the Bailey-Mathews Shell Museum (3075 Sanibel-Captiva Road) are also very good.
If you are looking for tropical/beach-theme unframed art work to take home the Sanibel Art & Frame store at the intersection of Tarpon Bay & Periwinkle (Olde Sanibel Shoppes Center) has a large selection.
Savings Tip: The back of the Sunny Day Guide has a coupon for almost every store on the island! Our favorite coupons are for a free reusable tote bag at Baileys and/or Jerrys. It is handy on the beach and is a great souvenir to take home.
